Catherine Wombwell and her son Fred Wombwell
Not much here. I'm afraid. Catherine was a daughter of Charles Wombwell and Sarah Nichols
and was born in 1856.
It is not clear whether she married, but she certainly had a son, Fred, who was known as 'Lion Tamer' Wombwell.
If Catherine was married I assume Fred took her maiden name as a stage name. And there you have it.
